MIS 6506 - Advanced Accounting Information Systems and Data Analytics

Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing; ACC 202 or ACC 203; *MIS 099 (*Course number will change to DAT 099 effective Spring 2020) or MIS 226 or MIS 327
The course focuses on the use of accounting information systems for accounting financial, audit, and non-financial applications. The course also focuses on the concept of “Big Data” and analysis of data for predictive and detective purposes in business, accounting, audit, fraud, and internal control analyses.
