COU 6662 - Techniques of Group Counseling

Credits, 3 sem. hrs.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of the following courses: COU/PSY 6502 Theories of Personality and Counseling COU 6501 Legal, Ethical, and Professional Issues in Counseling ; COU/PSY  6506 Multicultural Counseling   or consent of the instructor.
This course introduces theories, models, and techniques of group counseling for use in school, agency, and other settings. In order to register for COU 6999 Graduate Comprehensive Examination  and take the CPCE, which is required for graduation, this course must be successfully completed with a grade of “B” or better.
