PLS 5447 - U.S. Military Intervention

Credits, 3 sem. hrs.
Prerequisite(s): PLS 101 or PLS 201, or Instructor’s consent. A study of the military intervention since the end of World War II. Topics will cover an overview of military intervention since 1775 and consideration of the different types of interventions utilized since 1945, including: covert intervention, the utilization of paramilitary forces, the Reagan Doctrine, and instances of direct military intervention by U.S. armed forces.
